Job Description:
A company is looking for a Healthcare Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
Review contracts between hospitals and insurance carriers, model
claims data, and identify lost revenue
Contact responsible parties for claim payments and prepare appeal
letters for denial overturn
Perform analysis on large data sets to identify underpayment and
denial trends
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Undergraduate degree or internship in a healthcare-related field
preferred
3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle or Healthcare Claims
preferred
Understanding of health insurance, EHRs, EMRs, and claims
handling
Healthcare operations experience preferred
Basic to experienced knowledge of Excel
