The RN demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
  • New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit topractice in New York State as an R.N.
  • Basic Life Support Training
  • Infection Control Training
  • Certification in specialty preferred
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
  • 1 year of Med Surg experience required
