Manual/CNC Lathe & Vertical Milling Machinist - Mount Vernon, New York Eckert & Ziegler Mick-Radio Nuclear Instruments is a medical device company located in Mt. Vernon, New York. We are looking for a Manual/CNC Lathe & Vertical Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform typical machine shop operations on CNC or manual equipment including but not limited to the following tasks:

• Turning
• Milling
• Drilling
• Taping
• Deburring
• Polishing
• Programming
• Set-up
• Inspection
• Utilize sanding instruments and polishing wheels on unfinished and finished metal (Titanium & Stainless Steel) surfaces to correct defects, smooth, prepare and polish surfaces.
• Fulfill the operations necessary to make machined products to satisfy production specifications.
• Wash polished parts to remove cutting and polishing compound. Requirements Minimum 5 years machine shop experience is a mustRead blueprints Work with measurement equipment (such as calipers and micrometers)G-code programming is a mustExcellent oral and written communication skills are required Our machinery is Hass, Hardinge and Rofin, CNC lathes, vertical milling machines, laser welding and laser marking.
