No experience necessary, but preference will be given to applicants
currently holding a valid Conductor/Engineer Certification under
CFR 240/242. Candidate must reside within two (2) hours of the
reporting location. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Performs
duties associated with the movement of rail cars: operate track
switches, couple and uncouple cars, works on freight trains in yard
and local operations. Qualifications & Requirements: - Must be able
to work outdoors in all types of weather. - Work various shifts
including weekends and holidays. - Able to lift, push, pull, and
carry objects of various weight. - Able to walk, sit, stand, bend,
stoop and climb. - Distinguish colors and communicate using a
radio. - Speak, read and write English. - Have a valid driver’s
license. - Subject to random alcohol and drug testing pursuant to
Federal Railroad Administration Guidelines. If you are interested

between their rail sidings and the long-distance freight trains
