M&A and Private Equity Associates for a leading global law firm
to join their esteemed team in New York. We welcome candidates who
are prepared to advise corporate clients and private equity funds
on a range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions,
minority investments, and general corporate matters.
Responsibilities: Advise clients on M&A transactions and
private equity matters, ensuring compliance with corporate law and
market standards. Draft and negotiate transaction documents,
including purchase agreements, stockholder agreements, and related
documentation. Manage deal processes effectively, maintaining both
client communication and team coordination. Engage in direct client
contact to cultivate relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, taking the
lead on matters and initiatives. Qualifications: Juris Doctor
(J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and in good standing
with the State Bar of New York. 5-7 years' experience handling
M&A transactions, ideally within a recognized law firm. Strong
understanding of corporate law and market terms relevant to
acquisitions and private equity. Substantial experience in drafting
transaction documents and managing complex deals. Driven
personality with a business development-oriented mindset; ability
to work independently and take on considerable responsibilities.
Client Profile: The firm serves a diverse array of corporate
clients and private equity funds, providing comprehensive legal
solutions across various industries. The M&A and Private Equity
teams are known for their expertise in navigating complex
transactions and fostering lasting client relationships.
Compensation: The annual compensation range for this position is
between $365,000 and $420,000, contingent upon qualifications and
