Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant to join a patient-centered adult primary care practice in Brooklyn, NY focused on delivering high-quality, accessible, and personalized healthcare in an urban setting. Spanish speaking is required.

Position Highlights:

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations
• Document patient visits accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients on diagnoses and treatment plans in a clear and supportive manner
• Manage follow-up care and support ongoing chronic disease management
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests based on clinical assessments
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with supervising physicians when needed
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in all aspects of care
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary care team in a collaborative environment
• Participate in clinical meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Utilize strong communication skills to support patient understanding and engagement
• Contribute to a patient-centered, team-based care model focused on quality and outcomes

Qualifications:

• Certified Physician Assistant with active New York State licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a PA
• Strong team-based approach to patient care
• Experience working with diverse and underserved populations strongly preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients effectively
• Open to feedback, collaboration, and continuous professional development
