Job Description Job Description PPE is seeking a compassionate, skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our Emergency Department team at Carewell. We offer flexible scheduling — including full-time, part-time, per diem, night shift opportunities — in a fast-paced acute care environment dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our community. Responsibilities & Duties Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries Perform emergency procedures including suturing, wound care, airway management, and resuscitation Interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies Stabilize and manage critical and trauma patients Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and specialists Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record Ensure safe patient disposition, admissions, and transfers Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills Schedule options include days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on availability.
