Full-Time Location: UPMC Williamsport Schedule: 3:30 p.m. – 11:30
p.m., including every other weekend and rotating holidays Sign-On

Williamsport is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist to join our
dedicated imaging team. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of
diagnostic radiography procedures that help physicians provide

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently, following
established protocols - Review patient history, verify physician
orders, and ensure proper documentation - Administer oral and
rectal contrast per physician orders and department policy -
Accurately code and track exams in RIS and ensure proper archiving
in ISITE - Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor while
interacting with patients and staff - Communicate clearly with
patients to explain procedures and ease concerns - Demonstrate
initiative and sound judgment in applying prescribed ionizing
radiation What We’re Looking For: - Strong technical skills and
attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of
a team - Excellent communication and patient care skills - Prior
experience in diagnostic imaging preferred Ready to take the next

ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification of
program completion and scheduled graduation date. - Technologists
hired prior to graduation will work under indirect supervision by
an ARRT-certified diagnostic technologist until degree verification
is complete. - Cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT
certification is obtained. Licensure, Certifications, and
Clearances - ARRT Registry Eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. -
Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire (effective
January 1, 2025). - Diagnostic Technologists hired prior to January
1, 2025, must obtain registry within 12 months of hire/transfer
date. - Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR) required within 30 days of hire, based on AHA standards
(includes didactic and skills demonstration). - If working in a New
York facility, must hold certification from ARRT or NMTCB and be
licensed through the New York State Department of Health. -
Required Clearances: - Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting (with renewal)
- Act 33 (with renewal) - Act 34 (with renewal) - Act 73 FBI
