X-Ray Tech Location: Bristol, CT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,543 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required License: State CT License required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - At least 1-2 years of experience for each modality - Previous travel experience preferred Description: This position requires a general certification including BLS and Covid vaccination (3 shots). The department has 3 scanners/rooms available. There is no requirement to float or cover other areas. Common types of imaging/studies performed include General, OR, FL, and Portables. The average number of scans/studies performed per day is approximately 60. The software used in this department is Meditech and Intellispace PACS. The equipment includes GE, Phillips, and Siemens. There is no Radiology Supervisor or Lead Technician present. Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized in this department. Radiologists are not in-house 24/7. There is no requirement for starting IVs. Weekend requirements involve every other holiday. There is no call or standby requirement. Scrubs are not provided; the dress code consists of purple tops and eggplant pants. The HR orientation is one day, with training and shadowing based on individual progress. There is a cancellation policy where shifts may be canceled without penalty under certain conditions. BSN is not required for this position. This role is within an acute care setting.
