Family/Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity Near GREAT NECK, NY Responsibilities: Full Scope of Primary Care: Provide a comprehensive range of primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance. Patient Evaluation: Review patient s history and perform physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care. Refer patients to specialists as needed. Clinical Diagnostic Skills: Demonstrate quality clinical diagnostic skills in delivering patient care. Review all test results and recommend suitable management, including preventive health recommendations and habits. Prescription and Treatment Plans: Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans. Relationship-Centered Care: Provide relationship-centered care, considering both psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. Record Keeping: Collect and record patient information, maintaining complete and accurate medical records. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care. Educational Participation: Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings. Qualifications: Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent. Residency: Completion of three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Experience: Open to both experienced and newly trained providers. Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine. License: Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license. Registration: Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. Enrollment: Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll. Certification: BLS or ACLS required. Communication Skills: Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written. Technology Comfort: Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
