Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 34.5 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse- Med/Surg Location: Bronx, NY , 10461 Shift: Nights/ Days Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to manage diverse patient populations, and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care. Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients with diverse acute and chronic conditions. Perform through patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient status. Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards. Skills: Comprehensive patient assessment and acute care nursing Medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care Time management and multitasking in fast-paced units Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Accurate EMR documentation and strong patient safety compliance Documents Required: Valid NY State RN license ACLS Certified through AHA BLS Certified through AHA Our agency may be new to your list, but we’re here to provide you with exceptional opportunities.
