Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Acute Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Bronx, NY. Job Function: Night Shift. 7pm to 7:30am. Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions. Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience. Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention. Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures. Job Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC. EPIC Experience. 2 years of experience. NYS License. Vent experience required.
