Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Three shifts per week schedule • Required to work every other weekend and holidays • Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required • Required certifications: BLS and NRP • EPIC EMR experience required • Care for infants' basic needs including diaper changes and feeding • Coordinate medical treatments with NICU physicians • Provide comfort and support to premature and ill newborns and their families • Attend births, measure and weigh infants, and monitor health directly after birth • Educate new parents about breastfeeding and infant care • Perform comprehensive patient care including assessments and vital sign monitoring • Draw blood and perform specialized procedures • Collaborate with healthcare team including nurses, physicians, and neonatal nurse practitioners • Organize, assign, and supervise duties of other staff members as team leader • Utilize nursing process to develop care plans and deliver patient care Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing critical care services for premature and critically ill newborns.
