Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Bronx, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,458 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/28/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU RN Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Minimum of 3 years ICU experience License: RN License to practice in the state or by reciprocity Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Efficient in managing patients with EVD and multiple medication drips - Experience in managing trauma patients of varying severities - Proficient in performing assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS - Knowledgeable in the care of patients undergoing hypothermia treatment - Familiar with pleurevac chest tube drainage - Familiar with Allscript EMR - Ability to observe strict isolation precautions and adhere to hand hygiene protocols - Following standard operating procedures and critical care practices - Familiar with PCA pump usage Description: Candidates must possess a BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school. An RN license is required to practice in the state or through reciprocity. Three or more years of ICU experience is preferred. Certifications required to start include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Preferred certifications are CCRN and TNCC but not required. Candidates must demonstrate efficiency in managing critical patients. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected. Candidates should be capable of following detailed care protocols. Team collaboration and effective communication are essential in this role.
