of recent ER RN experience License: Active nursing license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (Mandatory) Must-Have: -
Ventilator experience - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - Willingness to
float to ICU and medical-surgical units - Availability to work
every other weekend and holidays Description: Assess patients'
clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting
serious situations. Prioritize and make immediate decisions upon
and take proper action in emergency situations when the physician
is not immediately available. Operate and monitor general and
specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse
oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors. Administer
therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician including
medications and IV therapy that affect hemodynamic status,
respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation. Record
observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures
administered. Document the status of coordinated activities between
nursing and other professional disciplines. Plan and develop care
delivery, implement the plan, and coordinate the documentation of
care. Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and
equipment and ensure general upkeep of the unit. Preserve a safe
