Position Overview We are currently seeking skilled and
compassionate Mental Health Professionals to join our team as 1099
independent contractors. A Professional License is not required for
this position Location: Scranton, PA Pay - Weekly retainer pay for
seeing 15 clients per week - An additional 50/50 split on 16 or
more sessions per week - Retainer pay supports: - Paid time off -
Compensation for mandatory meetings, required supervision,
no-shows, and paperwork Benefits of providing 1099 services for the
Aaron Center - Own your schedule, in office or hybrid - Association
with an established organization - Clients are referred to you, no
worries about diminished caseloads - Dedicated support staff to
assist with scheduling and administrative needs - Supervision,
clinical consultation, and a professional network - Access to an
in-house psychiatrist and medical team - Provided electronic health
record (EHR) system - No rent or overhead fees - Billing is managed
in-house, daily billing cycle - Bi-weekly payment of retainer pay
and provided services - Utilities covered - No responsibility for
building maintenance or property liability - Secure, accessible
location with ample parking Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties: -
Conduct individual and family therapy sessions - Perform intake
evaluations and assessments - Develop therapeutic relationships
focused on recovery and wellness - Provide care across the
lifespan, including children (training available if needed)
Administrative Duties: - Maintain timely, accurate documentation
consistent with licensing, insurance, and company standards -
Coordinate care with internal and external providers - Participate
in clinical collaboration and supervision as required
Qualifications - A Master's degree in a recognized clinical
discipline, including Social Work, Psychology, rehabilitation,
Activity Therapies, or Counseling, is required. - Must have
completed an internship or practicum during your graduate program -
Experience with individual therapy and intake evaluations or
similar services/care - Assessment/diagnosis, coordination of care,
documentation and critical execution of therapeutic modalities
experience - Technological proficiency and ability to navigate EHR
systems - Commitment to high standards of clinical care and ethical
practice - Ability and willingness to complete documentation within
an established timeframe - Professional License not required
Skills: - Reliable - Non-judgmental attitude with the ability to
listen, empathize, and accept others. - Excellent telephone and
communication skills. - Ability to work independently and
cooperatively with patients, co-workers, and supervisors. -
Adherence to ethical standards. - Maintain confidentiality and
professionalism at all times. - Proficiency in English. - Computer
skills for electronic scheduling, billing, and future software use.
