• Employment Type: TravelUnit Notes--- ER Adults and Peds patients--- Fast track - yes --- # beds/trauma bays- 14 trauma bays, 60 beds, but this ER always has overflow in hallways--- # Psych/seclusion rooms- none--- # patients per day- 300 visits per day--- Charge Nurse- charge nurse day and night shift--- Nurse Aides/Paramedics- PCT (EKG's, draw blood)--- Security/Patient sitters- PCT would do 1 to 1 sitting--- Weekend Requirement- every other but may be asked to fill a need--- Tele/Monitor Techs- no monitor tech's nurse need to read EKG strips--- Vents- yes --- ED Physicians/Mid-Levels- 8 to 10 attendings available--- Lab Draws - nurses do most of the lab draws--- IV Team- PICC team--- RT 24/7 --- Pharmacy 24/7 --- Shifts- 8a-8p; 8p-8a; 12a-12p; 12p-12a --- Floating - adult and peds ER nurses will be expected to work both--- Floor specific orientation- 2 shifts on day shift with preceptor and then 1 day on the shift they will be assigned--- Common diagnosis / Types of patients Adult and peds patients this is a level 2 trauma ER will see all types of patients--- Additional Notes- this ER is very busy, nurse must have good time management and be on time for work and have good attendanceeTeam Inc Job ID #22639274.
