Job Description:
Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search
for an experienced Maternal Child Health RN Supervisor, Registered
Nurse, for a Nurse Family Partnership Home Care Program in the
Bronx, NY. Position oversees a team of Maternal Child Health RNs
who make visits to Mother & Baby in the field. Qualified candidates
will be experienced and knowledgeable in overseeing the Maternal
Child Health Clinical Team. The RN Supervisor will provide
leadership, develop quality assurance programs, and ensure the
Program is meeting regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will
also provide guidance and support to the nursing staff to ensure a
high level of patient care.Oversee and evaluate MCH home health
nursing staff, updating current policies/forms and directing
quality patient care.Supervise and manage the nursing staff and
provide support and guidance as neededRN Supervisor will need to go
in the field to evaluate RNs and provide educationDevelop and
implement quality assurance programs to ensure the program is
meeting all regulatory standardsMonitor and evaluate performance of
the nursing team and provide feedback as neededOversee the
recruitment and hiring of nursing teamEstablish goals, objectives,
and standards of performanceDevelop and implement policies and
procedures related to nursing careMonitor and update schedules to
ensure adequate coverageEnsure the staff is adequately trained and
provide ongoing education opportunitiesHandle patient complaints
and inquiries in a timely and professional mannerJob
RequirementsMust have a minimum 3 years of Maternal Child Health RN
experience, Previous Home health experience a plusBachelors degree
in nursing or related fieldCurrent Registered Nurse (RN)
licensePrevious RN Supervisory, RN Preceptor, RN Team Lead or
Charge RN experience requiredKnowledge of healthcare regulations,
policies, and proceduresExcellent communication, organizational,
