Sun River Health is currently seeking a full time Pediatrician to support our Bronx, NY location.The Pediatrician diagnosis and treats patients in his/her specialty area; collaborates and supervises nurse practitioners and physicians assistants; participates in planning and developing health care services in his/her specialties, treats conditions and illnesses within the scope of the physicians specialty, referral and follow-up of patients when indicated, participates in after-hours coverage to insure 24-hour availability of care for Center patients. Performs job duties in compliance with systems and job specific standards.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Takes histories, performs physical examinations, and prescribes treatment and medication for conditions falling in the scope of his /her specialty following evidence-based standard of care.* Provides off hours and hospital coverage for Health Center patients where contractually obligated to do so.* Designs and participates in quality improvement activities, including Medical Record Peer Review, performance and procedure audits, outcome audits, and focused reviews.* Provides supervision for clinical activities of medical providers and medical documentation in his/her department, including but not limited to review of protocols, telephone triage, follow-up procedures.* Coordinates tests, referrals, and care of SRH patients outside the Health Center.* Sets standards for preventive care and diagnostic screening within his/her specialty; participates in the development of programs to carry out these standards.* Maintains legible and appropriate documentation of medical records.* Participates and attends provider meetings.* Provides safe and successful performance, including meeting productivity, quality and patient satisfaction standards.*Minimum Education Requirement:** Doctorate Degree M.D. or D.O.* Valid License to practice medicine in New York State* Board Certified or Eligible*Minimum Related Work Experience: *2-4 yearsSalary Range: $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 annuallyJob Type: Full-timePay: $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 403(b)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Loan forgiveness* Malpractice insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayEducation:* Doctorate (Required)Language:* Spanish (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Bronx, NY 10455 (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
