• Responsible for performing routine and non-routine activities pertaining to laboratory testing and the reporting of results
• Performs moderately difficult to complex tasks
• Performs assigned analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner
• Accurate testing of quality control and able to troubleshoot unacceptable values
• Timely testing of specimens. Identify, report and document specimens that do not comply with policies - hemolyzed, ecteric, lipemic and critical
• Blood Bank processes - prepare blood and blood products for transfusion, screen for antibodies, process delivery of blood and blood products.Requirements:
  • BS/AA in Laboratory Science
  • Minimum of 1 year paid working experience
  • Customer service attitude
  • Data entry skills
  • Medical Technologist License
