applications for a full-time director or senior director of
advancement services. This position provides leadership and
oversight within the areas of annual giving, communication,
advancement data operations, analysis, and reporting. This
individual provides strategic direction and guidance to enable the
success of all advancement functions and teams. This position works
-closely with departmental staff on a wide variety of operational
initiatives: including but not limited to process documentation,
cross-training, creating efficiencies and improving effectiveness.
This position also oversees the strategy, development, and
execution of the annual giving program in collaboration with the
director and associate director of annual giving. This position
also oversees gift administration and the integrity, accuracy,
organization, and maintenance of alumni and donor data.Because

years of related experience, including three years of supervisory
experience required. Experience in nonprofit and/or higher
education preferred.Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency in overseeing
fundraising best practices and related compliance.
- Experience managing others, prioritizing and organizing
projects, and working in a team-focused environment.
- Experience leading new major initiatives at a department level
(such as system conversion, capital campaign, etc.)
- Experience and knowledge of process improvement, preferably in
a higher education setting.
- Experience with system management, with a preference for
experience or certification with Blackbaud for Raiser's Edge.
- Experience in problem analysis, problem resolution, and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in using Microsoft applications, Google Suite
