Takeda's Clinical Data Strategy is a key part of this effort and will require significant organizational and operating model changes to implement.The primary purpose of the Program Manager Program Management Office (PMO) is to provide support and technical expertise for high-priority, complex, and cross-functional activities to build the R&D Clinical Data Strategy and guide the implementation across Systems / Architecture, Standards, Processes, Automation, and Talent to ensure progress and identify risks and mitigations for overall success. You will report into the Program Leader, Integrated Clinical Data Pipeline.ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop important metrics and milestones to demonstrate financial and strategic value of clinical data flow projects through collaboration with pillar teams and the Implementation Management Office
  • Partner with clinical data flow functions and platform teams (HR, procurement, finance) to establish relevant team structures, charters, and processes for value demonstration
  • Develop tracking platform (e.g., digital dashboards) for important metrics
  • Plan, coordinate, and track metrics. Report to the PMO Lead and Steering Committee / Implementation Management Office and escalate issues / roadblocks
  • Identify interdependencies and ensure connections are made across other workstreams and platform teams
  • Identify and assess risks with significant business impact and ensure milestone achievement across cross-functional teams
  • Support workstream leads by being important contact point between leads and other stakeholders
  • Provide data and reports to managementCORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE

                • Work in a global ecosystem (internal and external) with a high degree of complexity including geographically distributed team members and experts with different cultural backgroundsEDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES, AND SKILLS:
                  • Advanced degree in life sciences and pharmaceutical fields.
                  • Minimum of 8-12+ years industry work experience in pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, operations, finance, or program management required
                  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience
                  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plusCore competencies:
                    • Influence senior-level management and key stakeholders without direct organization reporting
                    • experience with matrix organization, business projects, multi-disciplinary teams or strategic change management projects
