WHAT WE'RE DOING Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems
(RMS) is seeking a Next Gen Launchers Portfolio Senior Manager to
lead a team of PMs across a varied portfolio of hardware and
products. This role will be primarily responsible for executing
contracts that are transitioning from development to production, in
addition to designing and building protypes of new launcher
solutions. This role includes executing all phases of contract
execution for numerous complex contracts and customers, including
programs such as the US Army Mid Range Capability, MDA Prototype
Launchers, US Marine Corp Long Range Fires Launchers, US Army Long
Range Hypersonic Weapon Composite Canisters and all other MK41 VLS
derivative launching solutions. The establishment of stable
production processes and flow across the functions are a key to
success. Other responsibilities include support of program
demonstrations and flight tests, development of product and
technology roadmaps aimed at incorporating new capabilities and
technologies, and execution of sustainment and new equipment
training. THE WORK The Next Gen Launchers Portfolio Senior Manager
is a primary interface to all customers, and will be supported by
other Next Gen Launchers PMs for domestic, international,
production, engineering, and sustainment contracts. This role is
responsible for contract cost, schedule and technical performance,
as well as affordability improvements. This role will collaborate
across functional teams to ensure flawless execution of the
portfolio, focused on meeting (or exceeding) all program financial,
schedule, contractual and technical performance commitments. The
Next Gen Launchers Portfolio Senior Manager will report to the
Director of Launching Systems within the Mission Systems and
Weapons (MSW) Market Segment. This position will be based out of
Moorestown, NJ where the majority of the programs and hardware are
produced and sustained. There will be a limited amount of domestic

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business,
Finance, or related field from an accredited college. • Previous
program management experience with proven ability to deliver
results • Strong experience in earned value management (EVM) and
program performance management and compliance (PPM&C) • Strong
personnel management skills and the ability to engage in ongoing,
fast paced execution with onsite and virtual team members across
multiple locations Desired skills • Experience managing production
programs and/or past Production Operations functional experience;
specific focus on start-up/transition to production of new products
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of how programs
support LM’s business strategy • US Army customer experience and
the ability to build strong collaborative relationships • Cost
reduction and program performance improvement initiative
development, leadership, and implementation experience • Working

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed
Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This
position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US
Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range
for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York
(excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii,
Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or
Washington DC is $157,800 - $278,185. For states not referenced
above, the salary range for this position will reflect the
candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending

$181,400 - $314,525. For states not referenced above, the salary
