staff. -Willingness to work night shifts when required. -Must meet
hospital vaccination requirements, including flu and COVID
vaccinations. -Must be willing to undergo drug testing if requested

Global's client is seeking a reliable, flexible, and safety?focused
Duct Cleaning Technician to support environmental and engineering
operations within hospitals and healthcare facilities across the 5
boroughs of New York. This role plays a critical part in
maintaining Joint Commission compliance by servicing air conveyance
systems, grease ducts, laundry exhaust, lint systems, and other
ventilation pathways—including work inside operating rooms and
other critical care areas. The ideal candidate is comfortable
working independently, navigating multiple hospital sites, and
interacting professionally with staff across departments. Prior
duct cleaning experience is preferred, but strong helpers and
junior technicians with at least 2 months of hands-on experience on
a duct cleaning crew will also be considered. Key Responsibilities:
-Clean and maintain a variety of hospital air conveyance and duct
systems, including: -HVAC/air ducts -Kitchen grease ducts
-Laundry/lint exhaust systems -Enter and work safely within
sensitive hospital environments (e.g., ORs, critical care areas).
-Communicate effectively and respectfully with hospital engineering
departments, clinical staff, and other personnel. -Follow all Joint
Commission–related safety, hygiene, and compliance standards. -Work
a mix of daytime and nighttime shifts depending on project
requirements. -Travel independently to different hospital locations
throughout the 5 boroughs. -Use ladders, vacuums, scaffolding,
dividers, and other equipment; lift and move heavy items as
required. -Use a personal smartphone to access required FDNY apps
for job logins and documentation. -Maintain a professional,
friendly, and collaborative attitude with both coworkers and
hospital teams. Schedule & Work Environment: -Highly flexible
scheduling, depending on project needs and technician preferences.
-Some projects start at 5 PM, 9 PM, or run overnight (e.g., 9 PM–4
AM). -Other projects are day shift only and run 6–8 hours. -Weekly
hours vary based on project flow; some weeks may be lighter and
some heavier. Work can be tailored for: -Techs wanting maximum
hours -Techs needing a family-friendly schedule -Techs seeking
part-time work -Project lengths vary: some facilities may require
10 consecutive days at the same site; others rotate nightly. Travel
Expectations: -Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a
personal vehicle. -Independent travel is required across NYC’s 5
boroughs. -Public transit can be used for locations where it is
practical (equipment may already be stored onsite). $24-25hr
