Zurich's Middle Markets Risk Engineering team is seeking Portfolio Management Engineer (PME) with multi line Risk Engineering experience to support the Middle Market Underwriting Business Unit. This role reports to the Risk Engineering Director and is the primary Risk Engineering liaison with the underwriting business unit. This is a work from home role with office presence necessary. - Ideally positioned within the New York City or Boston areas. This role includes a company car with expected travel at 10-15% travel. -Additional responsibilities:

• Triage of risk assessment and risk improvement services, RE marketing, portfolio management
• Consistently looks for opportunities and proposes meaningful RE services that improve risk quality and generate fee income
• Creates assignment preparation packages
• Portfolio management. Works with UW/RE management to establish goals and objectives to address portfolio performance, loss trending, UW/RE training needs, and process improvements. -Final candidates will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record background check as this position includes a company car. -Basic Qualifications: ---- Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area -
  OR
  --- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area -
  AND
  --- Experience working in a team environment ---- Property &/or Casualty risk engineering experience
  -Preferred Qualifications: ---- Advanced Microsoft Office skills -
  --- Advanced knowledge of exposures controls -
  --- Advanced knowledge within industry segment -
  --- Certification in area of specialty; Risk Engineering -
  --- -Strong communication skills with ability to work with all levels within the organization, to collaborate and influence
