(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter with
telehealth experience for a contract position supporting
educational settings. This role is based in New Haven, CT,
providing remote interpretation services via telehealth platforms
to facilitate communication access for students requiring sign
language support. Responsibilities include: Delivering accurate and
clear sign language interpretation during virtual classroom
sessions and related educational activities. Collaborating with
educators and support staff to ensure effective communication and
accessibility for Deaf or hard of hearing students. Maintaining
professional confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in
all interactions. Managing scheduling and availability in
accordance with contract requirements. Preferred qualifications:
Proven experience as a sign language interpreter, specifically
within school environments. Proficiency in telehealth technology
and remote interpretation platforms. Strong familiarity with
educational terminology and protocols. Excellent communication
skills and ability to work independently under a 1099 contract
arrangement. Certification or credentials from recognized
