Job Description Job Description A growing real estate
organization is seeking a Financial Administrator to manage
day?to?day accounting functions, financial reporting, and
operational finance tasks across a multi?property commercial
portfolio. This role will take on responsibilities currently
handled at the leadership level and will work closely with internal
teams and external financial partners. It offers high visibility,
the ability to build structure within the department, and the
opportunity to contribute to ongoing organizational growth.
Property Accounting & Financial Operations Maintain accurate
property-level financial data in Yardi, including rent rolls,
tenant ledgers, and chart of accounts. Process all AP/AR
transactions, post tenant payments, manage deposits, and monitor
delinquencies. Prepare journal entries, complete monthly
reconciliations, and ensure proper coding. Perform CAM and tenant
recovery reconciliations and issue correct billing and adjustments.
Enter and update lease charges, escalations, abatements,
breakpoints, renewals, and other lease-driven financial terms.
Review leases to ensure accurate financial interpretation and
compliance. Generate monthly financial statements and management
reports using Yardi. Audit financial data regularly to maintain
accuracy and policy alignment. Year-End & Financial Partner Support
Prepare year-end reconciliations and collaborate directly with
external CPAs. Assist with asset-level financial reporting,
forecasting, and analysis. Partner with the Property Manager to
ensure operational activity matches financial records. Systems &
Process Improvement Help streamline financial systems, improve
reporting accuracy, and enhance internal workflows. Assist with
Yardi system updates, report customization, and troubleshooting.
Support ongoing efforts to strengthen scalability and efficiency
within the finance function. Administrative & Cross-Functional
Support Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth
daily operations. Support leadership with projects and requests
tied to financial oversight and organizational growth.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
preferred (not required). Experience with property-level accounting
and CAM reconciliations is required. Strong understanding of
commercial leases, rent escalations, breakpoints, and financial
reporting. Proficiency with Yardi is strongly preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced
environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
