Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Bilingual
Clerk: Credit Department in Bronx, N.Y. This is for a long-term
temporary to hire opportunity or temporary assignment. As a
Bilingual Clerk you will interact with customers via telephone to
provide information, process payment transactions, and handle
collection calls.If you meet the qualifications listed below please
Responsabilities for this role will be:
¿ Review and credit approve customer orders on a daily basis,
taking appropiate collection actions where necessary.
¿ Collection, follow up on past due customers.
¿ Recommend changes in a customer's credit status to the Credit
¿ Daily application of cash receipts.
¿ Reconcile customer disputes and payment deductions.
¿ Heavy customer and sales person contact as well as regular
interaction with the transportation and customer service
¿ HS diploma/GED, some college experience preferred.
¿ Must be Bilingual Spanish/English.
¿ Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
¿ Must have a minimum of two years experience in Accounts
Receivable and / or Collections.
¿ Must have knowledge of basic Accounting and possess strong math
¿ Prior experience in a wholesale environment a plus.
