Junior Accountant

Our Client, located in Mount Vernon, NY is looking to onboard a Junior Accountant to their rapidly growing organization! They are niche in their industry and service commercial clients in the hospitality industry. This position is 100% in office with the core work hours of 8-5pm with an hour for lunch. The ideal person for this role would be someone who is flexible to change, this is a great position for someone who is eager to learn want wants the potential to grow!

  What you'll do:
  
  • 
    
  • Assisting in both Accounts Payable and Receivable
    
  • Sorting and paying both physical and electronic bills
    
  • Bank reconciliations
    
  • Journal entries
    
  • Minimal collections reporting and entry
    
  • Ad Hoc analysis
    
    What the client is looking for:
    
    • 
      
    • A Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting or Finance
      
    • Experience with QuickBooks would be a plus
      
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
