Job Description:

Immediate full-time opportunity to learn accounting processes. Assist the Finance team by handling a range of accounting and administrative duties. Learn commission processing systems, act as backup for commission processing, and interact with other departments or outside vendors/agencies to resolve problems.

--- Learn Finance systems and software including the commission processing system.
--- Support commission processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform calculations, prepare statements and generate checks.
--- Process and administer accounts receivable and payable.
--- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
--- Process department mail, answer phones and direct callers, order supplies and prepare routine correspondence and generate reports.
--- Verify and enter data, review documents for completeness and maintain electronic and paper files.
--- Respond to information requests from field personnel, including branch managers, administrators, and the corporate office.
--- Provide administrative support to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
--- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

--- A college degree or 3-5 years of administrative experience.
--- Knowledge of accounting or a willingness to learn to account.

Knowledge and Skills:
--- Must learn quickly and possess a high level of problem-solving ability.
--- Excellent oral and written communication.
--- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn various software systems and tools.
--- Effective interpersonal skills, a customer-service focus, and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
--- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
--- Must be extremely accurate with details.
--- Profit Power or other accounting software experience is helpful but not required.
--- Strong customer service orientation and skills.

Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
--- Overtime may be required.
